In 1931, Hazel’s father has trouble finding a job because of the great Depression.Hazel goes to a baseball game where the Chattanooga’s were playing against the Yankee’s. Jackie Mitchell was on the Chattanoogas team, while Babe Ruth was on the Yankees with Lou Gehrig. At this time Jackie was only 17 years old with short hair. Also she could throw really fast curve balls. Later on when the game is over Hazel goes and plays ball with her friend Timmy Oglethorpe.

In 2014 it was my first year to travel to Destin, Florida it was in spring break. The house that I was staying in was a couple yards away from the beach. All of the sand there was white, with a bunch of jelly fish washed up on shore. My family and I went traveling to different places there like Joe’s Crab Shack.

My goal for 2015 is to pass the STAAR test and go to sixth grade. I also plan on traveling to different places to see new things. I can’t wait to see what happens in 2015.
